I'm heading back down to SD (GO Aztecs!) for a week and am looking at prices online.

I've been to Petco on Opening Night of the stadium vs my SF Giants and sat in the lower field level by 3rd base.

SF's AT&T has its "Club Level" similar to the Toyota Terrace. The one difference right off the bat, pun intended, is that the Giants do have vendors coming down the 1-15 rows of the overhang so you do get the ball game feel.

Inside the "concourse" are several food stands, a full bar, and other specialty stands with sushi, hand cut roast beef or turkey sandwiches. Typical upscale stuff.

My wife's Pella Window company had 4 season tickets and she'd get 4 games per year as a Sales Rep. We'd keep two games for ourselves, one always versus the dreaded arch rival Dodgers. I miss that perk of her old job. Typical mismanaged company with too much mid-management in a bad economy so they closed. Luckily she got hired by a small company who she would sell against. No Giants tickets however.Nor-Cal Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08508092942469409948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7333991649672303972.post-55764442679151144052008-09-02T13:43:00.000-07:002008-09-02T13:43:00.000-07:00My "I can't believe it" for the Mets happened two ...My "I can't believe it" for the Mets happened two days ago. One of my buddies from Boston (Met fan) is coming in this weekend and wants to go to Shea one more time. It's Mets/Phillies, Fox game, on a Saturday so I expected it to range between 50 and 100, which was fine. As I'm checking out, they've changed the delivery options to only "Will Call" and "Print at home". They now CHARGE YOU $2.50 to print your tickets at home.

Just so we're clear, it's free to go there and stand in line, which requires them to have an employee. It's $2.50 for them to send you an e-mail with a pdf attached... on top of the random $3.50 service charge per ticket and the $4.00 convenience fee for ordering via mets.com. It's really unbelievable.

I then, of course, paid it because I'm too important to stand in line.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
